Music and Working Out
Random Thoughts March 6th, 2006It’s Monday and it’s getting near the end of the day. I’m going to workout at the gym with Bob tonight and hopefully reduce a bit of that beer belly. I don’t feel so motivated today, I think it’s due to the fact that I stayed up till almost 2am last night. Stayed up doing what? I couldn’t tell ya… it’s just one of those nights where you deprive yourself of sleep for no reason.
I think I need some music to help motivate me. I feel so bored when I’m running on the treadmill. For me it’s so hard to concentrate and keep my mind focused while being on the hamster wheel, I don’t have fun doing it at all. And FUN is very important when it comes to weight loss. If you’re trying to lose weight and you’re not having fun, odds are your brain is going to tell you to stop.
I went to CompUSA over the weekend and happened to look at their ipod shuffles. For $70 I can get a 512mb Shuffle and a 2gb Nano is $200, is that even worth it? Maybe I’m too frugle or I’m just too indecisive but I’ve wanted a music device for a while now and have just never purchased one.
