Jogging Backwards Better for your Health

According to experts, jogging backwards burns more calories than jogging forwards, a fifth more in fact. The reversal can supposedly strengthen the heart, lungs, muscles and joints.
Timothy Badyna, a backwards marathon runner claims that “your balance increases. Your hearing increases. Your peripheral vision increases.”
So running backwards is good for your health. But what happens when you run backwards full speed into that light pole?

That should be on extreme sports. That sound very dangerous. Plus I am sure everyone I ran into would laugh.
