7 Pains You Shouldn’t Ignore
Articles, Health November 13th, 2006Sometimes we ignore pains and blow them off as something minor. I know I do that quite a bit; pop a painkiller and move on. Well NBC reporter David Bloom also had this mentality and it didn’t turn out so well for him. While covering the war in Iraq, David ignored a pain behind his knee. He ignored the advice of going to see a doctor and popped a few aspirin. Three days later Bloom died at the age of 39 of a pulmonary embolism caused by deep-vein thrombosis.
Here’s a list of 7 pains you shouldn’t ignore. Check out the article in Men’s Health for more details on these symptoms.
1. Sudden Groin Pain
2. Severe Back Pain
3. Persistent Foot or Shin Pain
4. Sharp Pain in the Abdomen
5. Transient Chest Pain
6. Leg Pain with Swelling
7. Painful Urination
