Finally visited the gym
Progress May 16th, 2007I finally dragged my lazy butt into the gym today. Ever since going on my business trip to Thailand 3 weeks ago, I’ve only managed to work out once. I did my usual routine today, except it was scaled down quite a bit since I got tired so quick. Did a 35 minute session on the elliptical machine and lifted some weights (I don’t even want to remind myself how weak I felt). Surprisingly, after being gone for 3 weeks, my LifeTime Fitness club hasn’t changed much. It’s the same crowd as before and it’s good to see them so dedicated. The only difference I noticed today was that one of the ladies that I see quite often seemed to have gone from a size A to a size D, it was quite the distraction today. So the good news is that I’m back but the bad news is that I gained 4 pounds! Time to start getting back in the groove, first step is self-motivation.

Are you really just visiting, like going to grandma’s house or are you going to start a regiment?
If you think of it as “Just Visiting” like in Monopoly, you won’t fair well. Got to change mentality first.

The hardest part about the gym is actually going, that my friend is half the battle.

I guess you already have a good motivation, you keep
posting it. Just divide it into parts , no matter what , hit the gym. rest will follow . once you feel the results
you won’t get back.
