“Put a personal trainer right on your iPod - mixed with your own music.”

Working out with a personal trainer can help you to achieve your fitness goals. However a major problem is that most people don’t have the time or money; Podfitness is the new option that could change the way many people work out. This is the new online service that will put the personal fitness trainers for celebrities like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton right on your iPod. The Podfitness website claims that you will get a personal and customized workout based on your specific goal, music preference and of course, trainer preference. The website doesn’t explain how the technology works, which made me want to try it out even more. I finally downloaded and installed the software when I got home, here’s a review. Agel Experiment

Product Review 5 Comments »

Finally finished my two boxes(one month supply) of Agel FIT today.  I’m still not sure how much this product has helped me to burn fat more efficiently and to suppress my appetite.  One thing for sure, there hasn’t been a noticeable change in my appetite, it is still as “healthy”(big) as before.  I’ve set up an appointment for another BodyAge test at Lifetime.  This test will tell me if I’ve decreased my body fat percentage at all since I can’t tell because my weight has stayed at a constant 181 pounds.  If the trainer tells me that the amount of fat I’ve lost over the period of a month is more than the average Joe who works out 3 days a week, I will consider Agel FIT a success.

I still have half a box of Agel OHM left.  I haven’t noticed a significant change my in energy levels for this product so I’m thinking about setting up a mini experiement.  I’m gonna consume 5 times the recommended dosage for OHM in one sitting.  Yep that’s right, I’m gonna consume 5 packets to see if anything happens.  I will check my blood pressure and pulse before and 30 minutes after I over dose on Agel OHM.  If Agel OHM’s ingredients work, I should be bouncing off the walls full of energy or maybe I’ll be on the floor having a seizure.  This should be interesting!

My iPod Nano Sidekick

Product Review, Progress 3 Comments »

Today was my first day running with the Nano. I must admit, the Nano is worth buying. When I did my 20 minutes on the treadmill today it didn’t feel like my brain was turning into mush because I had music. With the music in my ears I was bouncing along at a nice 6 mph (I normally do 5 mph) for a good 15 minutes until my left ankle started hurting. It seemed like the pain made my entire body more tired from the running. However, I don’t like to give up so I kept running but at the end of my run I could barely walk because that ankle was so sore.

After some stretching I moved to the cycling machine and did 20 minutes while maintaining my heart rate at around 160. Oh I love the cycling machine, no pain at all in any joints except for the burning sensation in your quadraceps. With my “workout” playlist I think I could’ve easily gone for another 10 minutes on that.

My Lost Workout Gloves

Product Review No Comments »

yahoo3 Last week I lost my favorite pair of workout gloves (Harbinger 1260). I had these babies for over a year, they were given to me by my ex-gf at the time. These were seriously the nicest gloves I’ve never had, I think they were around $45 when she got them, which is more than I’ve ever spent on a pair of workout gloves. They have this really nice foamy padding across the top of your hands that protects your knuckles and allows you to wipe away your sweat. On the inside of your palm it’s got a nice padding as well which really helps in lifting. Sometimes that little extra layer of squishy padding on my palms helps me to bench better. It allows me to sort of bounce the bar a bit in my hands before doing a set. I think it’s a psychological thing but it works for me.

And now I see that Amazon has them on sale for $19.94! I’m gonna have to get myself a pair of these gloves if my old ones never turn up at Lifetime’s lost and found. That’s what I don’t get, I left my gloves on the treadmill and when I went back the next day there were no where to be found. I mean c’mon, who would take someone else’s sweaty workout gloves and keep it for themselves?

Workout Plan Needed

Goals, Product Review, Progress No Comments »

I need to figure out a workout plan soon. I’m starting to drift towards a routine of nothingness, where I just go to the gym on a set schedule and do random things and hope for the best. Somehow I gotta figure out the optimal way of cutting some of this beer belly fat without cutting into too much of my time. Monday, Wednesday and Friday (sometimes) I run on the treadmill for 20 mins (goal of 20 I should say) and then I lift weights for about 30 to 45 minutes. I’ve heard before that you should split up your cardio and lifting days, something about burning off your muscles if you do them on the same day. I don’t know if that’s true because my dad does cardio and weights on the same day and he’s pretty buff.
