Golf is my planned exercise for the day.  I’ll be playing 9 holes after work, hopefully I’ll sweat a little.  Yes, I know it’s not a real exercise, but it’s so fun.

It’s Friday today and it’s getting near 5PM. Colleagues are packing up early and going to happy hour, tempting me to join them. But I must refuse with my sorry-ass excuse of “I have to work out” to which they promptly reply “You don’t HAVE to”. Am I the only person that feels the pain in working out after work on Fridays?? If it weren’t for this blog I’d easily give in and head to the bars. But that’s why I have you readers to exert the pressure on me in keeping the course back to my six pack.

However I did eat and drink like a king last night. You’d just look out of place ordering a weak salad at a steak house when your boss has a 16 oz. herb crusted prime rib. So I had filet mignon medalions with crab cake and asparagus, and some cabernet. Yes I controlled myself, I didn’t eat *everything* on my plate like I normally do.

I had a great workout today, my lifting was intense and the time on the treadmill seemed to pass pretty quickly. But I am still feeling a little sore from working out with Bob on Monday. I think whenever I work out with someone I tend to push myself harder. My goal is to be able to make it into the gym on Friday as well, I missed last Friday.

It’s Monday and it’s getting near the end of the day. I’m going to workout at the gym with Bob tonight and hopefully reduce a bit of that beer belly. I don’t feel so motivated today, I think it’s due to the fact that I stayed up till almost 2am last night. Stayed up doing what? I couldn’t tell ya… it’s just one of those nights where you deprive yourself of sleep for no reason.

How is that possible?! This is hands-down the roundest beer belly picture I’ve ever seen.  Look at the perfect roundness, he can even fit Kirby in there! If I wasn’t trying to lose my beer belly I’d probably want mine as round as this his.
